I am from Julian, CA in San Diego County. After graduating from high school, I attended Mount San Jacinto Community College. During this time, I participated in a study abroad program in Spain. This inspired me to travel to Cusco, Peru where I attended a Spanish language school and volunteered at an orphanage. Later, I transferred to UCSC to pursue a B.A. in Anthropology and Psychology. After graduating UCSC, I went on a 6 month around the world adventure to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Guatemala & Mexico. This trip took place right before starting school at Washington State University, where I earned a M.A. in Anthropology. After earning a M.A. degree, I moved to Humboldt County and worked at College of the Redwoods for several years. I have recently started this new position as the Admin Support Coordinator/Office Manager for the Office of Student Life at Cal Poly Humboldt. I am thrilled to be a part of the college community and support student engagement, leadership, and social justice, equity, and inclusion for our students. I am excited to interact with diverse groups of individuals and support their success on campus, and provide inspiration and guidance as they navigate their road to academic success.
